Muslims and police join efforts in a peace campaign in Homa Bay

The Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (Supkem) and police have launched a campaign to promote peace in ahead of the elections. 

The two groups began the peace campaign by holding a procession in Kendu Bay town, Rachuonyo North Sub-county.

Supkem Secretary Abdul Masud and Rachuonyo North Sub-county Police Commander Lydia Parteiyie led in the exercise and rallied residents to embrace peace and unity. 

Parteiyie said they are targeting the youth who are mostly used by politicians to cause political violence.
