We are ready for BBI bill, Siaya MCAs declare

By Kevine Omollo | November 14th 2020

Members of the County Assembly have kicked off sensitisation forums on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.

According to Speaker George Okode (pictured), the preparations are meant to ensure a non-contested debate in the House once the BBI Bill is presented to the assembly.

The ward reps yesterday hosted Prof Adams Oloo, who was the deputy chairman of the BBI team in what Okode said was to promote understanding of the document.

Okode said there was misinformation around the document and the only way around it was to involve those who have knowledge on the report.
