KENYA: A fisherman was killed after he was reportedly found catching fish using a poisonous substance in Lake Victoria. Zachary Ochieng' Oyugi, 41, was reportedly attacked by fellow fishermen with pangas at Kaugege Beach in Mbita sub-county and beaten to death. The deceased's friend, Dancum Omondi, was also beaten up before being taken to Mbita Police Station. Area OCPD Wilson Nanga said they are investigating the weekend incident. "The other suspect will be taken to court after investigations," he said.
