Newly-appointed Health Officer to renovate City Mortuary to snuff out stench

Residents living around Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital who have been complaining of a bad smell emanating from the facility's morgue could soon breathe fresh air as plans to renovate the facility are in high gear.

The newly appointed Chief Officer for Health Facilities, Geoffrey Mosiria Omatoke, said his plan is to find alternative means of preservation as the cooling machines at Mama Lucy Hospital are not properly maintained.
