Deputy President Kithure Kindiki made an unexpected visit to the Kanyuambora Irrigation Water Project in Mbeere North, which turned into a significant moment for Geoffrey Ruku, the Member of Parliament for Mbeere North.
The visit, which took place shortly before 3pm, was initially a routine inspection of the ongoing project but became the setting for breaking the important news of Ruku's nomination as Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Human Capital Development, and Special Programmes.
