Stop criminalising demonstrations, Amnesty cautions the State

Amnesty International-Kenya has condemned excessive use of force by police in containing protestors.

In a statement, the human rights defender stated that "the continued attacks, use of excessive, unnecessary and unlawful force, including lethal force, is leading to increased deaths and injuries of both adults and children."
