Kilifi will not vote for President Uhuru, declares Governor Kingi

Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi

Governor Amason Kingi has said NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga will win the local vote by a landslide on October 17 even if he does not campaign in the county.

Governor Kingi, who is a vocal critic of the Jubilee regime, said he does not believe President Uhuru Kenyatta can win votes in the area because the reasons that caused residents to reject him on August 8 still stand.

Addressing a gathering at the Kilifi sub-county hospital yesterday, Kingi said he will team up with other NASA leaders in hunting for votes in other regions as Kilifi was secure. "That is how confident we are about the level of support for Raila Odinga," he said.
