Former Heritage minister and veteran politician William ole Ntimama has challenged the management of Maasai Mara University to venture into the study and research of herbal medicine as a solution to various ailments.

Ntimama, who was addressing the third graduation ceremony at the university, said herbal medicine if fully exploited can generate a lot of revenue and offer solutions to various diseases.

He said Narok County was well endowed with indigenous trees with high medicinal value, especially those found in the Mau forest and the university should seize the opportunity and carry out research on the medicinal value of various tree species.
