Church apologizes for child sex abuse with almost 2000 victims

UK:   The British arm of the Methodist Church has sensationally apologised for failing to protect children and adults, after garnering almost 2,000 complaints of physical and sexual abuse since the 1950s.

In a 100-page report, published today, the church said it wanted to be honest and open about the past.
