Kenya: A company associated with former Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka involved in a legal dispute over purchase of land is seeking to be enjoined in a case filed by two advocates fighting an order freezing their bank accounts.

Desiral Company Ltd has filed an application at the High Court in Nairobi to participate in a case lodged by Timothy Isaac Bryant and Gitonga Gerry Graham.

The two advocates were involved in the sale of the property of a four-storey building along Ralph Bunche Road near Nairobi Hospital owned by Kenya Youth Hostel Association.

Desiral Company Ltd had also deposited Sh23 million for purchase of the property but it was sold to Superiorfone Communications.

The case was scheduled for hearing yesterday but High Court Judge Lydia Achode postponed it to September 29 because lawyers representing the two advocates were not in court.
