US Vice President Kamala Harris has shared a Spotify playlist of 25 songs she has been listening to in the past few months while traveling through Ghana, Tanzania, and Zambia.

The playlist is titled "My Travels," and features a diverse range of artistes, representing the sounds of the African continent.

As Vice President Harris travels through Ghana, Tanzania, and Zambia on her first official trip to Africa since taking office, she has been listening to music that reflects the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The playlist includes artistes from across the continent, with a focus on East Africa. Interestingly, only one Kenyan musician made the cut, with Sauti Sol's Bien Aime Baraza appearing on the list through his collaboration with Tanzanian artiste Darassa on the track "No Body."

The majority of the artistes on the playlist are from Tanzania, with tracks from Zuchu, Alikiba, Jay Melody, Mbosso, Jux ft Marioo, Darassa, Marioo ft Abbah, and Platform ft Marioo all making an appearance.

Vice President Harris arrived in Ghana on March 26 for her first official visit to Africa as Vice President and plans to meet with African artistes, including those featured on her playlist, to discuss ways to help promote their music in international markets. She has already met with Ghanaian-American artistes Black Sherif and Amaarae.

I am releasing a playlist featuring the artists from my travels across Ghana, Tanzania, and Zambia, including many of the Ghanaian and Ghanaian-American artists I met today like @blacksherif_ and @amaarae.https://t.co/B057ZDcpv8
