23 more die, elderly dominate Covid-19 fatalities list

Ministry of Health says some 1, 857 Kenyans aged 60 and above have succumbed to the virus since the pandemic struck. [File, Stanadard]

The elderly people make up the majority of Kenyans who have succumbed to Covid-19 since the pandemic struck over a year ago, the Ministry of Health (MoH) says.

The ministry’s data also revealed there were only about 200 people below 30 years have died from Covid-19.
