Golden boot hopeful Omalla ready to lead Gor Mahia past Talanta

As defending champions Gor Mahia prepares for their upcoming FKF Premier League match against FC Talanta this Sunday, all eyes are on the league's current top scorer, Benson Omalla, who has found the back of the net nine times in 14 matches.

“My target this season is to surpass last season feat of 26 goals. My team trust me infront of goal and that is why they play with me very well.

“This week I have been working on my timing and finishing touches this week,” said Omalla.

“We started the match against Nzoia very slow but the fighting spirit in the team is amazing. We want to play better against Talanta. Taking it a game at a time, we also want to maintain our unbeaten streak as we work towards the bigger goal of retaining the league,” said Gor captain Philemon Otieno.
