Kakamega Homeboyz FC thrashed Bidco United 3-1 to extend their lead on the table in a FKF Premier League match played at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County.

Homeboyz scored all their goals in the first half with Yema Mwana netting the opener in the 18th minute before David Okoth extended their lead in the 32nd minute.

Things went from bad to worse for Bidco when defender Antony Simasi scored an own goal as he attempted to intercept winger Mike Isabwa's cross from the right in the 41st minute.

In the final half, Bidco pulled-back a goal in the 67th minute through Jacob Onyango’s penalty but it could not do any harm to the score line as Homeboyz held on to win 3-1.

The win saw Homeboyz extend their lead at the summit to 40 points, five more than Nairobi City Stars.

At the Nyayo Stadium, bottom placed Vihiga Bullets forced AFC Leopards to a barren draw.

The draw saw Leopards stay in the 11th position on 25 points, one above Sofapaka while Bullets remained at the bottom of the table on nine points.

In Mombasa, Bandari fought back to earn a point from their 1-1 draw against Gor Mahia as the post Andre Casa Mbungo era began at the Mbaraki Grounds.

Peter Lwasa gave Gor the lead moments before halftime before substitute Mohammed Abeid leveld the score in the 70th minute.

The other result saw Posta Rangers beat Talanta 1-0.
