Man United confirm 24-man Europa League squad

Manchester United have released a strong 24-man squad set to continue its European journey in the Europa League.

Noteworthy is that players can be added from the B-list, which means homegrown talent like Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood do not count as part of the main squad.

Tim Fosu-Mensah, Jesse Lingard, Facundo Pellistri and Odion Ighalo have all left for other clubs in the January transfer window, meaning, changes have been imposed from those on Champions League duty last year.

Ivorian teenager Amad Diallo stands out following completing a move from Atalanta. The winger scored a brace on his debut for the Under-23’s in Saturday's 6-3 victory at against Liverpool.

Phil Jones has also been recalled following the departure of Marcos Rojo to Boca Juniors. The centre- back is believed to be moving to full fitness after long-term injury.

Man United travel to Spain’s to face Real Sociedad in the first leg of the round of 32 on Thursday, February 18, with the away leg taking place 5 days later at Old Trafford.
