GOtv subscribers are set for a major treat as the new football season kicks off later this month.

The company has announced that they have added the Italian serie  ‘A’ to their football serving and Kenyans will be able to watch Cristiano Ronaldo who has just signed for Juventus after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid.

GOtv Kenya GM Simon Kariithi  said subscribers on its Max package will watch a total of 760 La Liga and Serie ‘A’ matches making it to go to channel.

“We are happy that we can now offer our subscribers both the Italian Serie A and Spain’s La Liga, enabling them to follow all 760 matches of the league.

“This is part of our ongoing commitment to bring value to our customers,” he said.

The Italian Serie A is regarded as one of the best football leagues in the world and it is often clouted as the most tactical national league. With the new signing of one of the world’s best football players, Cristiano Ronaldo, to last season’s champions, Juventus, the league is about to become even more exhilarating.

Ronaldo is regarded as one of the world’s most popular and expensive players, and he will be looking to make his mark on the Italian competition and further build his claim as one of the greatest players of all time.

“We always strive to give our customers value for their money by having exciting content on their screens. This is only the beginning,” added the GOtv General Manager.

He also revealed that subscribers on its channels will also be able to watch two UEFA Champions League matches every week once the tournament kicks off.

Speaking at the venue, Philip Wahome Multichoice Kenya Corporate Communications Manager said the new addition gives their subscribers a wider array of variety. [Gilbert Wandera]
