Former champions TUK slowly coming out the woods

TUK were buoyed in the victory by Stephen ‘Kwach’Odhiambo and Abdo Alow, who scored a goal each to seal the win. The victory moved TUK to 14th place on the log with five points.

“This is a very important win for us, the boys played according to instructions and we appreciate the decent officiating. The win is a morale booster given we are under pressure to move to a respectable position on the standings,” said TUK’s coach Lukas Aluoch.

The loss to TUK at home confined Meltah Kabiria to bottom place with five points from two draws and a win. Fixture pitting Zamalek against Kabete United at Drive Inn grounds proved a one-sided affair as Zamalek routed Kabete 3-0.
