Ryan Giggs' brother launches attacks on Louis van Gaal

Ryan Giggs' brother Rhodri launched a scathing attack on Louis van Gaal during Manchester United's FA Cup tie against Sheffield United at Old Trafford.

A replay at Bramall Lane seemed inevitable as the fourth official revealed there would be six additional minutes, with the Red Devils struggling to carve out any clear-cut opportunities against a dogged Blades outfit.

However, Dean Hammond fouled Memphis Depay in the box in stoppage time, giving Wayne Rooney the chance to fire his side into the fourth round.

It would have been Van Gaal's sixth 0-0 draw at the Theatre of Dreams this season, and his assistant's brother was less than impressed.

"This philosophy is toilet, why don’t you get you’re superstars in on a Monday and teach them how to cross a ball #imfreefridays" he tweeted.

It took until after the hour mark for Man United to have a shot on target, and ironic cheers followed as Depay took a shot from outside the penalty area.

Van Gaal remains under pressure despite the eventual win, with United still sitting three points outside the top four in the Premier League.
