Samburu-based Chalbi Shooting Club engaged their competitors in a fierce battle to dominate the Discipline Forces challenge at the Bamburi Rifle Club in Mombasa over the weekend.

Chalbi, who went further to win the top three positions in the Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCC) category, put up a spirited fight to overcome Kenya Defense Forces, General Service Unit (GSU) and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

In the PCC category, Catherine Kavana from Chalbi emerged victorious after leading her teammates Lilian Muok and Carol Kiama to settle for the second and third slots respectively. In the PCC men category, Erick Cherongis and Symmon Sunkuyia both from Chalbi settled for the first and second positions respectively. [Ernest Ndunda]
