The camera work in singer Avril’s latest song Hello Baby, a Swahili love themed song featuring bongo artiste Ommy Dimpoz, is good. The scenes in the video are shot at the Enashipai Resort and Spa Naivasha.
This clip begins with striking whirlwind romance images of Avril and Ommy Dimpoz fantasising about each other in separate scenes. Then followed by scenes of the two ‘lovebirds’ dinning and boat-riding scenes shot from a drone.
Scouting for location in this particular clip was amazing; the natural scenes go along well with the love theme in the song. The script in the clip is simple yet rich with clear dramatized scenes.
Directed by Sync, the sunset camera shots captured from different angles create a splendid silhouette in the clip.
The clarity of the video brings out a well-edited video. Another interesting aspect of the clip is the chemistry between the two artistes which blends in well in their vocals.
