Homa Bay, Kenya: Five people among them a prominent ODM politician are feared dead in an accident at Rodi Kopany along Ndhiwa road.
Homa Bay County acting ODM Chairperson Mrs Monica Amolo has died in a road accident.
Mrs Amolo died alongside four other people after a vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a road accident at Ongeng market along Homa Bay-Ndhiwa road shortly after 7pm.
Mrs Amolo was returning home from a campaign rally for ODM candidate in the HB senate by-election.
Governor Cyprian Awiti and his deputy Hamilton Orata described the death as yet another terrible blow to the county.
