Easter holiday: Enjoying this season despite the pandemic

Easter holiday is here and with the new updated COVID-19 containment measures, you can no longer travel to the country side or enjoy a good meal at a restaurant. You are left wondering what you are going to do.

The kids are home and you had probably planned on a leave to enjoy quality time with them and now all those plans seem to be falling apart.

Well you don't have to worry, you can still make this holiday memorable with some of these ideas:

Who doesn't love good food? Instead of sitting and sadly watching the weekend pass by, go grocery shopping ask the kids what they would love. Involve them in the preparation process and cook your favourite meals.

Nothing beats a homemade meal cooked with love and for your favourite people.

Since it's the egg season, why not indulge your family in some fun games and treasure hunting?

You can buy some eggs, paint and hide them around the house. You can them make treasure hunting for them the highlight of your holiday.

Nothing beats some family fun time and the kids will always be glad spending time with their parents.

Just because you can't go to a fancy hotel or have a road trip doesn't mean you can't still make your holiday worth your while.

You can locate grounds that allow picnics and break the monotony of staying at home by going out and enjoying some nature.

While there you can have some fun outdoor games and make the best of your time together.

You can always have a spa day with your partner. You can consider going for some massages, or you could go out and make your nails and hair.

Make it all about self-care and treat yourself.

If you have kids, you can also take them shopping and let them choose what they want. The pandemic is hard on all of us, the least you can do is at least make their day.

When was the last time you sat together as a family to watch a movie and had a good laugh?

Well if you can't remember the answer then maybe here is your chance. If you love new movies, make a list of them and watch them together as a family.

If you don’t have a list, I can attest that that nothing beats watching the classics any day, so how about you give them a shot?

It is said the best memories are best kept in photos. For your holiday, you can consider going for a photoshoot and have photos you can carry with you and always reminisce about the good times.

While you can't have the best moments out of the house, you can still dress up and take amazing photos.

If you don't own a camera you can hire out one for the day.

Children love any excuse to dress up and taking photos would be the cherry on the cake.
