Usher has been involved in a number of philanthropic ventures including supporting oppressed communities and providing scholarships for students to attend college. During the coronavirus pandemic, Usher took part in BET's 'SOS: Saving Ourselves - A BET Covid 19 Relief Special' to raise funds to support African American communities that have been affected by the pandemic.
