Dear Coleen,
Some time ago I had a relationship with a much younger woman. I spoke to her recently and she said she would “knock on my door soon”.
However, she has a very strong personality and she likes to dominate me in the bedroom.
If she does knock on my door, should I consider it a “mating call” or should I just have a coffee with her?

I think you should take it in whatever way you want!
If she wants to come round, jump in bed with you and go off again, and you are OK with that, then that’s fine. If you just want to be mates and have coffee that is fine, too.
Right now you seem confused about what she actually wants from your friendship, so perhaps it is best you start asking her some questions.
Tell her you are not sure about what she wants and have her lay her cards on the table.
However, if it is not what you want, do not be intimidated by her domineering personality – be strong and say so.
