EVE BRIDAL: How did you meet?

Hezekiah: We met in campus. I decided to pursue her after we took a photo together, which I would later gaze at for hours many days after. To draw her close, I outdid myself by preparing what I reckoned was an outstanding fish and rice dinner for her and an accompanying friend. To my dismay, however, dinner did not seem too enjoyable for her as she barely touched her food and talked little the entire evening even though her friend seemed to have a good time. I could tell she was trying to put me off, but this only heightened my determination. The turning point came during the holidays in 2009 when I talked her into being a maid in my sister’s wedding and during that process, her heart melted finally warming up to mine.

How did he propose?

Millicent: He proposed during an outing in Kajiado, the dry rugged country serving as worthy backdrop. We were served a full African sausage (mutura) after lunch. He offered to serve cutting it from one end and to my surprise, out the engagement ring popped ou! Before I got over myself he proposed.
