A woman has shared a sneaky way to find out who's been trying to look at your partner's Instagram page - but others have hit back to say the trick is simply "crazy".
In a video captioned 'A tip for the girlies', it shows how to get a complete list of the people who have tried to view your partner's profile using a poll on Instagram stories.
The feature is usually used for followers to vote on one of two options, with the person who posted it getting a list of people who have taken part in the poll.
But one user discovered another way to use it, by positioning the poll with one of the options hidden off screen, disguising it not to look like a poll at all.

In the example, a woman shares a picture of herself and her boyfriend on her story, and inserts a poll. She then drags the option on the left off the screen, and puts her partner's Instagram handle in the box which can still be seen.
People will assume it is a tag linking to his profile, but instead it simply gives his girlfriend a list of the people who tried to head through to his page.
The clip has been viewed more than 4.5 million times after being shared on TikTok by user @Meganvplatts, and some people loved the idea as one said: "I'm laughing way too hard right now because I'm imagining their faces when they realise."

A second wrote: "I just did this and 100 people clicked."
But others said the list doesn't prove a thing, as one argued back: "Looking at someone's profile doesn't mean anything. This is so jealous and insecure."
A second commented: "I'm nosey though, I'm not trying to steal anyone's man."
And another added: "Why do some girls try to beef with anyone who even breathes next to their man like this is crazy lmao I'm sorry."
