Singer Diamond Platnumz to settle with one woman by 2021

Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz recently revealed on his social media about settling down with one woman, whose identity is yet to be known. Now, this comes as a shock to many Kenyans and East Africa at large considering he had hinted on putting a ring on the sassy queen, and now ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Tanasha Donna. The bongo artiste says he is already seeing someone else, only five months after breaking up with his fifth baby mama.

He made the revelations of his wedding plans mid-July 2020 in an interactive social gathering. Considering the singer is famously known and tagged playboy and one with quite a number of escapades with women, many seem to find this scoop hard to believe. The Tanzanian hot cake repeated his favourite clichés whenever he's in a relationship, saying he is planning on marrying and settling down with his new girlfriend. Now his fans have heard this same promise one too many times that they believe this is yet another phase that will come to pass.

The 30-year-old this time, however, said that he is tired of dating and he feels the time is right for him to settle down. "Sipo single nina mwanamke ninayetaka kuoa. Sisi wengine sasa hivi hatutaki mahisiano, tunataka tuoe. Mwezi wa kumi tarehe mbili nitatimiza miaka 31 na sitaki kuwa tu na mwanamke, sitaki kuwa na kimada(mistress), sitaki kuwa na hawara(prostitute), nataka kuoa," Diamond said.

This being the same promise he made to his ex-lovers and now some baby mamas, it's safe to say we'll believe it when we see it. Diamond's relationship with the former NRG radio presenter, Tanasha Donna, lasted more than a year with the artiste promising to marry his Kenyan sweetheart. Only as expected, it never happened, but he definitely left a legacy by siring a son with her. Tanasha and Diamond separated in March 2019 over irreconcilable differences and Diamond thereafter has kept his personal life private.

Before Tanasha, the singer was in a four-year relationship with Ugandan socialite and mother of his two children, Zari Hassan. He also promised to marry her back then only for Zari to dump him over claims of infidelity. During their relationship, Diamond was still involved with the Tanzanian model and pop artiste, Hamisa Mobetto and even sired a child together. Another lady whom Diamond promised to settle with was Wema Sepetu. The two had an on and off relationship for more than five years. Other women before, the singer was involved with are Jokate Mwengelo, Aunt Ezekiel, Jacqueline Wolper and Penny Mungilwa. At least the ones we know of.

The bongo artiste said he wants to get married, but only to one woman because having many women is stressful and exposes a man to witchcraft because of fighting among co-wives. The marriage of his sister, Esma Platnumz, which occurred on 1st August 2020, provided Diamond with the perfect opportunity to disclose his marriage intentions with his new flame. Could she be his next baby mama, or is this the real deal? Only time will tell.

On 5th August 2020, the bongo Flava king Diamond Platnumz won most stylish male artiste of the year in the East Africa Fashion Awards. Despite his unstable love life, the artist has always made big-money moves in his career and continues to shine above all else.
