 Vera Sidika

Socialite Vera Sidika caused a stir in Nyeri town after making an appearance at Club Luxurious Ibiza, last weekend.

Thousands flocked the club to catch a glimpse of her.

The club, which has been the talk of town after introducing pole dancing on weekdays, could barely contain the excited revelers who flocked the club and eagerly paid up the Sh 1000 entrance fee to access the venue.

“I want to thank the people of Nyeri for welcoming me, this is my first visit but I promise you just sit down and you will get a chance to take your pics and videos, one at a time,” she said.

The Club owners Zachary Irungu and Daniel Macharia praised Vera for accepting their invitation and praised her business acumen.

“She is a very professional and down to earth, it took us two months to organise this event and throughout the deal she was cooperative and responsive, we are happy to have pulled off a first in Mt Kenya region,” Macharia said.

“It takes a great deal of team work to pull of such events, but we started this club with the intention of changing the game and we have done so one event at a time,”Irungu explained.

One of the most controversial shows, the club has is pole dancing night dubbed The Samantha Show, which locals say is a strip tease show.

The club owners have defended the show insisting that no stripping takes place at the venue and pole dancing is an internationally recognized sport.

A list Djs such as DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ creme, and nickedee have had guest appearances at the club while Hart the band have also held live performances at the same venue.
