Radio personality-cum-DJ Rasta Rob, has revealed that he is behind Zari Hassan’s fame.
Rob, who dated Zari in the ‘90s, told Uganda’s Spark TV that he met Zari when she was young.
“For a better part of my life, I have been a DJ. Many times, I used to perform in Jinja, at a place called Sailing Club. That is where I first met Zari. She was still a young girl. She must have been around 18,” said Rob.
He added that that “It’s me who brought Zari to Kampala many years ago around 1996 or 1997.”
Rob further revealed that he still reminiscences about the good times they had together.
