KTN’s Jameni actor Geoffrey Omondi aka Wuon Otiato, popular for his Raila Odinga parodies, is officially taken.
The actor, who rose to fame through his Luo comedy series Pengle, where he played a traditionalist Wuon Otiato, married his Norway-based fiancée, Richline Atieno. The two tied the knot in Kisumu City in front of their close friends and family. The actor claims that he spent Sh1.8 million on the wedding.
“It was an African-English themed wedding. I invited all the Jameni and other comedians,” said the actor. They have been dating for years in what can be described as a successful long distance relationship.
Richline, a Norwegian citizen, is now working on her Kenyan citizenship and will still be shuttling between Kenya and Norway since her job is in Norway.
“We will be dividing time between Kenya and Norway since we both have invested in the two countries. We have done it successfully before, so this shouldn’t be an issue,” Geoffrey said.
They have five children and are looking to add one more. The couple has already left for Dubai for their honeymoon.
