On December 1, Senator Mike Sonko's vocal daughter, Salma Mbuvi posted a heartbreaking tribute to her late mother on Instagram.
"As we celebrate you tomorrow and remember everything you did for us. For me, I celebrate you every single day having you for a mum was the best beginning life could have given me. I know your listening from the heavens above there is nothing I value more than your love no matter where I am or what am doing your memories will always keep me smiling love you mama #RIP missing you," she captioned the black and white photo.
Most of her followers had assumed that she is the biological daughter to Senator Sonko's wife, Prim Mbuvi judging from their close relationship.
Earlier this year, she hit the headlines after she accused singer Marya of being a home-wrecker.
