Nairobi Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke has pledged to support Morgan Heritage’s charity initiative in Korogocho slums.
He made the promise when the reggae family paid him a courtesy call recently.
“We are very happy and grateful for your interest in nurturing talent in the slum. We will give you all the support you need,” Mueke said.
Meanwhile, Gramps Morgan launched his Caribbean food product and is hoping that Kenyans will embrace it. “Kenya is the first country in Africa to experience my food product. This is just the beginning. I hope to spread my wings and probably open an African branch here one day,” said Gramps.
The reggae group recorded a collabo with H’art the Band.
This is their second collabo with Kenyan a artiste having worked with Wyre whom they now refer to as ‘family’.
