Heads Up has learnt that he has been appointed as the official ambassador and face of the annual Lari Marathon.
The annual event held at Kereita Forest in Lari aims to raise funds to re-forest the degraded forest ecosystem. “When I was approached to be the face and image of this event, I couldn’t say no. I mean, it aims to rehabilitate and protect one of the biggest water towers in Central Kenya,” Jua Cali told Heads Up.
“I am so excited and although we have only negotiated my participation this year, Lari Marathon is a cause that I would like to be associated with,” he added.
