Nigerian-based Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani will be representing Kenya at this year's African edition of the SXSW Festival in South Africa.
Scheduled for March 20, the festival will also feature other African music stars like Ice Prince, Sarkodie and D'banj.
According to the organisers the event will host a "conversation with five of Africa's prominent artistes in an insightful and lively interview discussing their come up and their unique views on the booming African music industry."
SXSW (also known as South by South West) is a set of film, interactive and music festivals and conferences held annually in Austin, Texas.
It was founded in 1987.
