Singer ShizoM Kenya is stepping into the festive season with renewed creative energy and a fresh collaboration with coastal favourite Sudi Boy.

Their new release, Inatosha, is already turning heads as a smooth, homegrown love song blending ShizoM's lyrical warmth with Sudi Boy's unmistakable coastal soul.

ShizoM first crossed paths with Sudi Boy at a Nakuru show back in late 2020. The two had hoped to collaborate then, but shifting circumstances pushed the plan aside. Still, they stayed connected, and that friendship has finally blossomed into studio magic.

"So far we've done two songs," ShizoM says. "Inatosha came together so naturally. Sudi wrote the chorus and his stanza, I wrote mine. He also guided me on the vocals. The vibe during recording was just perfect."

Produced by Jersit, who ShizoM credits for his crisp production and skill in merging their vocals, Inatosha is accompanied by a cinematic music video shot by Trey Juels, giving fans a complete audio-visual treat.

But beyond his music, ShizoM has also carved a lane as one of the increasingly vocal young activists pushing for artists' rights and stronger copyright protection in Kenya.

He has been consistent on social platforms and in industry forums, calling for fair compensation, transparent royalty systems, and better treatment of creatives.

"For me, it's not just about making music," he says. "It's about ensuring that artistes especially the upcoming ones, can actually earn from their work and be protected."

As the festive season approaches, ShizoM hints at even more activity: a string of upcoming collaborations with diverse artistes, multiple releases already in the pipeline, and a busy events calendar. He urges fans to stay connected through his YouTube channel, promising a season packed with surprises.
