Simi celebrates husband on anniversary in sweet post

Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi Wednesday honoured her husband Adekunle Gold as her soulmate in a sweet post celebrating their second wedding anniversary. Taking to her Instagram account to heap praise on the award-winning Nigerian highlife songbird and designer, Simi said she is blessed to have him as a husband after seven years of dating for he is good person, dotting father and the best partner she could ever wish for.

"Well, 2 years on government paper and 7 years since I gree for you, you lucky man. Through a pregnancy. With a baby, we're both unashamedly obsessed with. Through a pandemic. And it's still you. I've never had to wonder if you're in my corner. You're still the best man I know. You should have been your own best man (don't leave me),” wrote the mother of one.
