Inside Mel B and Eddie Murphy's ‘poetic romance' to courtroom battle

Melanie Brown and Eddie Murphy were destined to be one of Hollywood's power couples before the romance wore off and they ended up in court. The 45-year-old Spice Girl once declared that movie star Eddie Murphy was the "love of my life" after she quickly fell pregnant in the early weeks of their relationship.

The couple reportedly enjoyed 'poetic sex' but now they are due to face each other in court again as Mel looks to have his Sh3 million-a-month child support upped, after she had a dramatic decline in earnings after the coronavirus pandemic brought a halt to much of her activity this year. Mel and Eddie originally met in 2006 at a Beverly Hills party following the actor's divorce from his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell.
