The finale for Lucifer season 5 went under substantial changes following news the show would get a sixth run. Netflix surprised fans of the hit series by announcing an additional season of devilish antics from the satanic detective, played by British hunk Tom Ellis.
Those behind the series had expected the fifth run to be the show's last and filmed the episodes with this in mind. With news of further instalments, changes were made to keep the show going into season 6.
