Sofia Vergara insists she was in on Ellen DeGeneres' cruel joke as old clip resurfaces

Sofia Vergara has insisted she was in on Ellen DeGeneres' joke after a clip of the presenter making fun of her accent went viral. In the video Ellen, 62, is seen poking fun and discussing Sofia's ability to speak the English language.

Now The Modern Family star, 48, has taken to Twitter to reassure her fans that she "was never the victim" and the pair were "just having fun". She said: "I was never a victim guys. I was always in on the joke." Alongside her post she shared a clip of her and Ellen making fun of each other during CoverGirl commercials in 2015.
