At a time when divorces are common, couples who stick it out through thick and think are often lauded. This was the case as Kalekye Mumo’s parents marked 50 years of marriage in an intimate celebration on August 16. Via Facebook, the former TV and radio host shared photos of the celebration while expressing gratitude to God for witnessing her parents celebrate 50 years of marriage. According to Kalekye, they organized the family-only affair by themselves, proof that she could be an event’s planner and makeup artist if she puts her mind to it.
