Top Kenyan artistes among them hip-hop kings Khaligraph, King Kaka and Octopizzo, Kansoul, Femi One, Kagwe Mungai, Jua Cali and Sailors are set for the biggest show this season.
The extravaganza dubbed Trace Fest will be the season finale of the Trace Events, a unique showbiz experience that has been featuring leading Kenyan artistes in the last four months now. The music show that will be streamed on Trace Live Youtube and Facebook channels as it happens this weekend.
“The essence of these online concerts is to showcase Kenyan music to the world and increase appreciation of artiste’s skills and talent in the local music consumption market,” says Danny Mucira, the managing director of Trace Eastern Africa cluster, adding that this initiative was also a way to help artistes get a source of income during this Covid19 pandemic.

This season has seen Trace Live present King Kaka versus Kaka Sungura, Naiboi and H_Art-the-Band, Khaligraph Jones, Evelyn Wanjiru and Eunice Njeri in the gospel edition as well as Trace Mugithi special with a lineup of six artistes. The Trace live series was fashioned around physical concerts but were moved to an online platform in support of the government directives to close down all public gatherings.
