Global communications agency Burson Cohn and Wolfe (BCW) has released ‘World Leaders on Facebook 2020’ listing the most popular leaders on the social media platform.
According to BCW, March has seen many world leaders’ following on Facebook grow as citizens seek guidance on the coronavirus pandemic. 721 pages of world leaders analysed in the study had 13 million new page likes translating into a 3.7 percent increase. The study revealed that in March alone, pages of Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and those of the governments of Italy, Estonia and Austria more than doubled their page likes.
