Man's claim that his fart can kill mosquitoes six metres away is false

The viral story that a Ugandan man's stinky fart could kill mosquitoes had turned out to be false. The man, whose farts could allegedly kill mosquitoes six meters away, was said to have been offered deals by companies looking to turn his flatulence into commercial insect repellent. The man was a fictional creation of a satirical website that we picked up and republished as real. SDE apologises to our readers for the misleading information.
