‘Rich’ beggar arrested with Sh2.7 million hidden in his artificial limb

A ‘rich’ beggar is at his wits end in the United Arab Emirates after he was arrested in a swoop in Dubai, with Sh2.7 million (Dh100,000).

According to Khaleej Times, the beggar of Asian origin was arrested by police on patrol on the first day of Eid Al Fitr and upon being searched, the cops found Sh1.2 million hidden in his artificial limb.
