The Liverpool striker has been flirting with ladies on Instagram - and his chat-up lines leave a little to be desired
What would we do without Mario Balotelli? The Liverpool misfit can always be relied upon to do something brilliantly entertaining - even when he doesn't mean to.

Swapping shirts with another footballer (shock! horror!), an animal on the other side of the world striking a pose… headlines just seem to follow Mad Mario.

So, when the Italian wild man starts chatting up a girl via Instagram, he should not be all that surprised when the boyfriend of said girl posts the exchange on Twitter:

We don't speak Icelandic, but we are reliably informed that Jonatan's tweet reads, "The moment when Mario Balotelli tries to steal your girlfriend."

Not that Mario would have known, of course. But still, you have to admire his 'to-the-point' approach. A series of direct questions, one or two emoticons and BOOM… it's love.
