The organizers of the inaugural All Africa Postharvest Technologies and Innovations Challenge, 2017 have announced that the deadline for receipt of entries has been extended to February 24, 2017 to allow researchers and innovators more time to participate.
The Challenge is being organized under the auspices of the 1st All Africa Postharvest Congress and Exhibition which being hosted from the 28th to 31st March 2017, by the University of Nairobi in partnership with a consortium of Kenyan universities, Research and Development Organizations, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in conjunction and the World Food Preservation Center. The challenge will be judged by a panel of Eminent Judges from across Africa and the top 20 postharvest technologies and innovations will be profiled during the Congress and on its online platforms.
