Man arrested after being caught secretly recording up skirt videos at a supermarket

Virginia, USA: A man who was secretly recording upskirt videos at a supermarket has now been charged, police said.

Michael Edwards, 33, is accused of stalking a woman through a Safeway store in Fairfax County, Virginia, and sneakily taking footage under her clothes.

Edwards is believed to have followed her outside, shouted to her and then exposed himself before running away following the incident on August 5.

He was charged with filming non-consensual nude, simulated masturbation and indecent exposure, the New York Daily News reported.

The allegations is the latest in a string of similar attacks which took place in Montgomery County, Maryland, in late 2009 and 2010.

Edwards, then 28, tracked his victims through a supermarket and a craft store, closing in behind them so he could spray semen onto their backs, police confirmed at the time.

He was charged in connection with five separate attacks, but made a plea bargain with police and admitted to just one, local media reported.

He was sentenced to three years probation.

But he was jailed on August 6 and released on bail the same day.
