Garissa, Turkana, Kilifi, Kwale and Mandera counties had the highest percentage of over-age candidates in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations.
The highest number of candidates were in the appropriate age bracket of 13 to 15 years, totalling 885,162, and representing a 71.13 per cent.
