Victory is ours, a confident Raila Odinga assures supporters, asks for calm

Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has hailed Kenya's mature democracy and vowed to pursue legal means to resolve the current electoral dispute, even as he assured supporters of his victory.

Speaking at his Capitol Hill office in Nairobi yesterday, Raila said he was happy with the way Kenyans had conducted themselves so far. He, however, said his victory was hijacked by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), and would be restored by the Supreme Court.
