Former Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko has threatened to support Mombasa County UDA governor candidate Hassan Omar against Azimio la Umoja's Abdulswamad Nassir.
Sonko, who on July 28, 2022, lost his bid to be gazetted by IEBC to vie for the Mombasa governor seat, said Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo should be fielded as the alternative candidate failure to which he will support Omar.
